13:30	Cambridge University	130	6	3.01	Unsteady start but improved. 8 & 9 seemed to be pushing the handstrokes aggressively which caused a few faults.
14:00	Essex	90	2	3.03	8/9/10 seemed to have issues here too. In the second course the tenor was quick at handstroke which was well corrected. A good finish
14:30	Bedfordshire	69	1	3.03	The tenor set an excellent beat. Good team ringing, although slightly edgier than the practice.
15:00	Ely	129	5	3.00	Brinksmanship! They went into changes with 5 seconds to spare. This seemed to make them slightly unsettled but they improved.
15:30	Peterborough	111	3	3.13	The steadiest (slowest) so far. The tenor was slow at backstroke. There was a method mistake halfway and then they speeded up and the ringing brightened up.
16:00	Hertfordshire	120	4	3.13	Unfulfilled promise! Great rounds to start with, the best of the afternoon. Small mistake in 6/7 two thirds of the way through caused some faults.
