Alan Padgett, a Bishop's Stortford bell ringer, has been researching the history of the bells at St. Michael's for our Bell Restoration Project. He has discovered so much fascinating information about the bells he has put it together in a book, Tales from the Tower, which also includes a brief history of the art of English Bell Ringing.
